We are so fortunate to have a multi-talented intern at Elk Grove Food Bank Services! Sara has helped us through many technical issues lately, from setting up our new employment resource center's laptop computers, to researching technical subjects and explaining them to us in non-technical language, to showing us what we could do on the EGFBS Facebook. You can image our surprise when after just mentioning that we would like (maybe in the distant future) a logo for our Support Works program; Sara presented us with the image above! She took our thoughts of a caterpillar transforming into a butterfly, and breaking away from the cycle of poverty/unemployment and merged them into a meaningful image.

Sara has also assisted in our participation in the CSD Girls Night Out event. She also organized a breast cancer awareness class for our clients. Sara is putting what she is learning at CSUS to practical use here at EGFBS! We are so thankful!
