Merryhill School students are learning about Giving Without
Walls and how they can give back to the community. The students wanted to
give food to those in need. The classrooms collected food items for two
weeks to donate to the local Elk Grove Food Bank. It was a great
experience, especially seeing the truck and helping give the canned food to the
driver.
We at Elk Grove Food Bank appreciate these lessons taught to our youngest citizens. Our clients will benefit greatly from the kindness of these children.
